Synopsis: Julie Greene loves flings. Loves steamy first dates, sizzling first kisses, and every now and then, that first sexy romp between the sheets. Comfy pants, sleepy Sundays, movie nights on the couch? Shudder. But when Julie gets assigned the hardest story of her career—a first-person account of that magical shift between dating and "I do"—she'll need a man brave enough to give a total commitment-phobe a chance at more.

Normally, Mitchell Forbes would be exactly that man. A devastatingly hot workaholic who tends to stay in relationships for far too long, he should be the perfect subject for Julie's "research." But what Julie doesn't know is that Mitchell is looking to cut loose for once in his life. And the leggy journalist notorious for avoiding love is exactly the type of no-strings fling he's looking for. In other words, Mitchell is the polar opposite of what Julie needs right now. And, at the same time, he's exactly what she wants.

My Review
This is the first book I have read by Lauren Layne, but she is now one of my favorite authors!
A sticky sweet book that was just too cute. I enjoyed every minute of this book.
I absolutely adored Mitchell. He read right through all of Julie's fake personalty, and found the real woman underneath.

I loved reading the part when Mitchell figures out why Julie never takes her relationships to the next level. She has never been loved. Her family died when she was little, and Mitchell gets that, and shows her what love is.

One of my favorite parts of this book is when they are at Kelly's house. No it's not a very happy scene, but we get to see just how much Julie has fallen in love with Mitchell. She pours her heart out, and it was sad, but so sweet.

I love how Mitchell knew all of Julie's desires, and managed to surprise her with them. The twist and turns in this book kept me on the edge of my seat. One minute they were rapidly falling for each other, and the next they were reminding themselves of their mission.

The author has written a book that I will definitely read again I enjoyed watching Julie's and Mitchell relationship grow. As a romantic at heart I just had to give this book five stars!

Sex, lies, romance...give me more!! I am itching to get my hands on the next book! If you love romance books with a twist: make sure you pick up this awesome book!

*I received this book from NetGalley*
