Gia is in a BDSM auction to raise money for the Charity of her choice. Nervous, and sure that no one will bid on her she finds herself in a sticky situation. 425 thousand dollars later she is very shocked. Ivan sets up a role play scene where Gia is kidnapped, but Gia thinks it is real.
Just from the beginning of this book I was hooked. I have never read a Russian themed BDSM book. Compared to other books, it was different. Ivan was a little more dominating than some books I have read in the pass.
There was a nice mix in this book. Some parts were a little more romantic than some BDSM books, but there was also some darkness; which I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed the beginning part when Gia thought she was kidnapped. It brought a pretty fun twist to the book. Something more than just the normal.
My favorite part of this book was when Ivan and Gia were at a BDSM club, and Ivan made sure everyone knew Gia was his. That really showed how much Ivan was into Gia.
The d/s relationship in this book was nice. They weren't a full time d/ s relationship, but when they were it was awesome.
I thought it was awesome that the author pretrade Gia as a strong female character. Although Ivan was rich, Gia did not want to live off of his wealth. She made sure he knew that she wanted to still work, and not quit her job just to be with him.
I highly recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a BDSM book with a nice Russian twist!

ReplyDeleteOMG! So glad I did stop by because this book sounds HOT! The cover is swoon worthy too! I don't mind BDSM, but I tend to like it evenly distributed throughout the book which is how this one sounds. Also, even though they are quite different, this reminds me of Roxie Rivera's My Russian Protector series. Only in that series, the alpha males were in the Russian mafia. If you haven't checked out Roxie Rivera, I highly recommend her books.
