Review: All Fired Up by Kate Meader

All Fired Up (Hot in the Kitchen #2)
by Kate Meader

Synopsis

Her sweetest mistake . . .

Cool as a Chicago winter, private events planner Cara DeLuca is a model of self-control . . . until she meets the one temptation she can't resist: Shane Doyle. The sexy, Irish pastry chef is too hot, too sure, too young, and after a crazy night in Vegas-her new husband. While at first Cara wants nothing more than a way out of her sham marriage to Shane, she soon finds that beneath his farm boy demeanor lies a man who can match her drive, both in and out of the bedroom. How can the wrong guy feel so deliciously right?

. . . Tastes so, so good

Shane has carefully structured his career and life around one goal: connecting with the family that doesn't know he exists. Marrying a woman with more issues than a magazine stand wasn't part of the plan, but melting Cara's icy exterior is so worth the detour. Now as the annulment date nears and long-buried secrets are revealed, Shane will have to fight for the one thing guaranteeing the perfect life he craves . . . the current Mrs. Shane Doyle.

My Review

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Did you hear that? Yeah, that is my stomach growling after reading this book. Not only is this book HOT, it will also make you hungry. Kate Meader strikes again with an amazing book. Her writing style is off the charts, and all of the recipes will have you begging. Oh, and lets not forget about all of the pantie melting guys that will have you doing a mental swoon.

I am a true romance junky at heart, so I loved watching Cara and Shane fall in love. Miss Meader takes us for one hell of a roller coaster ride, and I loved every moment of it. Cara is a party planner, and oh boy, oh boy does she plan a party.

I think one of the best parts of this book was watching Shane help Cara through all of her problems. Not only was he there for her, she was right there for him. Without knowing it, they really were perfect for each other.

I really adore books that start off with one crazy night in Vegas. Even more when the characters wind up married. Because Cara and Shane didn't know each other, that made this book even better to read. We got to watch them date, and also see them as a married couple at the same time.

Over all I really enjoyed this book. I really loved all of the other characters, so I am excited to read their story. If you love food, romance, and a smoking hot love story, give this book a read.
