Review: Bang Bang by Rachel Van Dyken

He was my best friend.
Until he became my enemy.
All within the span of one night.
Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang.
The rapid fire of gunshots became the soundtrack to my life.
This is the Mafia. Lines are blurred. Choices are never black and white. And the life you thought you knew is... one giant lie.
He was dead.

And I didn't want his life to be in vain, so I tried to make something of myself. I tried and failed.
Now he's back. Alive. And he wants something...
Me.

Nobody ever said the mafia played fair.
Welcome to The Family.

 My Review

★★★★

Rachel Van Dyken has turned me into a freaking mafia chick. These sexy as sin alpha males will have you swooning one day, almost dying from a heart attack the next. If you are new to this series, you can read this book without having to read the other four books in the series. However, I highly recommend that you get to know the other hot as hell mafia men that will melt the panties right off of you.

I can not believe that Rachel has kept Ax all to herself for so long. I really enjoyed getting to know Ax and Ame. Just like the other mafia men, Ax and Ame have known each other since they were kids. I must say, that is why I love Rachel's books so much. All of her characters are either related, or they have grown up with each other.

I gave this book 4 stars is because it could have been a little longer. This was a nice and quick read, but I would have like to know a little more about Ax and Ame. This book is perfect for those of you that are new to the series, but we don't get a good feel for Ax and Ame like we have with the other characters. Other than that, I really enjoyed the book.

I do not want to give anything away, so I highly recommend you read this book. I promise you will definitely fall head over hills for these awesome characters. Click that buy button, you know you want to! Welcome to the family!
