You can never go wrong with a Lauren Blakely book. They are always funny, sexy, and different. Stars In Their Eyes really stands out to me. The characters are funny and realistic, and the story itself was flawlessly written.
This time we get a story about a young poparoxy who is trying to pay her way through college. She falls in love with a British private investigator who is trying to find a job that will help him say in the US. I know for a fact that for me this storyline is very different than what I usually read. At first, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I really was intreged when I read the synopsis. I am glad I read it, because it is a change from the books I normally read.
This book picks up where the first book in the series Starstruck Kiss leaves off. If you haven't read book one, I highly recommend you read it before you read Stars In Their Eyes. I really enjoyed this book, and as usual, I am so stoked to see what Lauren Blakely has cooking next. I am seriously becoming a huge fan!
