My Review

JEM by Michelle Abbott was a really good read. 

I loved that miss Abbott showed us the relationship that Jem and Devon had as kids. I felt really bad for Jem. I really think Devon's mom should have done a little more. I know it really wasn't her business... but just calling child protective services wasn't enough. I think she should have maybe made sure that Jem was taken from the house. 

I loved seeing Jem and Devon getting to know each other much better as adults. Although Devon didn't know who Jem was, I though it was a really good thing for their relationship.  I thought it was so sweet how protective Jem was towards Luke. At every turn he was doing something nice for Luke, and just looking out for him.

Quinn and Pearce were some awesome characters. They were really great friends for Devon. Quinn was definitely one of my favorite characters. He was also so protective of Devon and Luke, and just all around a great guy. 

I hope miss Abbott creates a book for some of the other character in the book. I would love to read more. I really enjoyed this book, and as always, I am excited to read more.
