Review: From Burning Ashes by Stacey Marie Brown

From Burning Ashes (Collector, #4)From Burning Ashes by Stacey Marie Brown
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This war is not being played on a battlefield.

Killed by the man she loves, not even death is kind to Zoey.
Neither life nor her fae powers will let her go in peace.

In this final installment, Zoey’s strength, determination, and trust are put to the ultimate test. In the fight to protect the people she loves and stop DMG from experimenting on fae, humans, and animals to create soldiers, she learns the reality of how far Dr. Rapava will go to achieve his ultimate mission.

Of course, Rapava is not the only one willing to go to extremes. Vadik is hunting Ryker, and there is nothing he won’t do to get back the property he feels is his: both Ryker and the Stone of Destiny.

To end one evil, Zoey might have to make a deal with another. One she won't be able to get out of. And it could be the worst decision she ever made
.

Review: Stacey Marie Brown has been one of my favorite authors since I read her first book. I am sad to see another great series end, but excited to see what she has in the works for the next one.

I have truely grown to love Zoey, Ryker, and Sprig. And not to forget the other awesome characters along the way. They all feel like family.

Sprig is one of my favorite characters. I could always count on him to liven up the book with his love of honey, and his stuffed animal 'love" Pam. If there was trouble, you could always count on him to help out.

Ryker was loyal. He always came back for Zoey no matter what. He was one strong dude that never gave up.

Now Zoey on the other hand... Now that girl was a true bad ass. She fraught back at any and everything that tried to keep her down. I want to be her when I grow up LOL. She was a serious amazing character. She was caring but fearce.

All of these twist and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. I think my heart stopped a few times. But over all, Stacey couldn't have written a better book.

This has to be the best one out of the series. I hope she writes a little novella based off of things in the last chapter.

So 2 thumbs up to this book and series. This book is more than 5 stars. Definitely give this series a read, as well as her other series.

Thanks Stacey for another great series. Oh... And after all of that, you know I am still Team Eli right? LOL

    1. Thank uou! And it is amazing. Check out her Darkness series as well. That's where it all started. Her Collector series is sort of a spin off. Hope you like them.

And thanks! I didn't know about that book until a year or so after I created the blog. Been wanting to read it though!

      Happy Reading!
