The City's HOTTEST Cold War is here!

WALK OF SHAME
a Love Unexpectedly novel
Lauren Layne
Releasing April 18th, 2017
Loveswept

Sparks fly between a misunderstood New York socialite and a cynical divorce lawyer in this lively standalone rom-com from the USA Today bestselling author of Blurred Lines and Love Story.

Pampered heiress Georgianna Watkins has a party-girl image to maintain, but all the shopping and clubbing is starting to feel a little bit hollow—and a whole lot lonely. Though Georgie would never admit it, the highlights of her week are the mornings when she comes home at the same time as her uptight, workaholic neighbor is leaving to hit the gym and put in a long day at the office. Teasing him is the most fun Georgie’s had in years—and the fuel for all her naughtiest daydreams.

Celebrity divorce attorney Andrew Mulroney doesn’t have much time for women, especially spoiled tabloid princesses who spend more time on Page Six than at an actual job. Although Georgie’s drop-dead gorgeous, she’s also everything Andrew resents: the type of girl who inherited her penthouse instead of earning it. But after Andrew caps one of their predawn sparring sessions with a surprise kiss—a kiss that’s caught on camera—all of Manhattan is gossiping about whether they’re a real couple. And nobody’s more surprised than Andrew to find that the answer just might be yes.

JACKIE'S REVIEW

5 stars

“That’s how you know, Georgiana,” he says, bending down so his lips are to my ear, his next words just for me, not the crowd. “That’s how you know I love you.”

Lauren Layne brings us another amazing book that I just couldn't help but to fall in love with.

This book had everything I come to expect from Ms LL,  and more.

We have Gorgie.  A sassy and care free woman who loves love, and Andrew, a cold diverse attorney who is and all business and no play. Andrew and Gorgie have nothing in common,  but they fit.

I adored their 5am bantter.  It was sweet and hilarious at times.

Ms Layne knocked the ball out of the park with this one,  and as always I can not wait to see what is next.

4.5 stars

I don't think its even a surprise that I loved this book.Any book of LL's is an autobuy and instant favorite for me!
Georgie in this book was quite different from the usual heroines. In real life we might find women like these vapid, but the way the author has characterised her is so beautiful, you can't help but fall in love with her!She is a socialite and a heiress, but you can only party all day for so long before you start to feel empty. So she is a bit confused. And it doesn't help that the Andrew, the hot shot lawyer who stays in her building keeps looking at her as if he is judging her choices.

Andrew is the complete opposite of her.He gets up to go out when she comes home after partying in the morning. He is successful and looks like he has it all figured out.And the only thing they have in common is the hilarious, sarcastic arguments that they have with each other. Both of them look forward to the five minutes of trade of coated insults and barbs, but neither would ever admit it.

The way the relationship develops between them oh so slowly was really good! No matter where they were in their lives, both of them were missing something.Though they weren't ready for it or like Andrew-determined not to believe it, they still needed love. And I was so happy that they found it in each other!Though on the surface its funny, cute and romantic, this book did leave me thinking for a while as it touched me emotionally, just as LL's books always do!

Now I will have an LL book craving and looks like I'll have to wait till June for I Knew You Were Trouble!
